비엔데믹 전환으로 외부활동이 늘어났지만 고물가 현상이 계속되면서 불황형 소비가 확산되고 있다. 온라인을 중심으로 대용량 절약형 물품의 구매가 늘어나고 있으며 반면 대형마트, 백화점 등 오프라인 매출은 줄었다.
생활용품 등 일상제품도 온라인에서
통계에 따르면 온라인 쇼핑 거래액은 꾸준히 늘어 최근 월 20조원을 돌파했다. 이 같은 결과는 불황형 소비의 성장이 주효했다는 분석이 나오고 있다. 예컨대 9900원 샵같은 실속있는 쇼핑을 즐기는 소비자들이 많아지고 있다는 것이다. 한 이커머스 플랫폼은 가격대별 추천 상품을 선별하는 한편, 무료배송 혜택을 늘리며 불황형 소비 현상에 대응하고 있다. 생활용품 등은 엔데믹을 맞아 오프라인 구매가 늘어날 것이라는 예상과 달리 여전히 온라인이 더욱 강세를 보이고 있다. 업계 관계자는 쿠팡같은 이커머스 기업이 전통 강자들을 제치는 모습을 보이고 있다며 유통산업 트렌드가 재편되고 있다고 덧붙였다.
