스니커즈 리셀 커뮤니티에 올라온 글이 화제다. 바로 명품 거래 플랫폼 발란이 가품 스니커즈를 판매했다는 것이다. 작성자가 구매한 한정판 스니커즈는 리셀 시장에서 200만원이 넘는 가격에 거래되고 있는데, 동일한 모델의 제품과 박스 색상부터 라벨까지 다르다는 항의 글이 올라온 것이다.
무신사에 이어 발란까지
의류 플랫폼 무신사가 명품 브랜드 피어오브갓의 에센셜 티셔츠를 판매했다가 가품 판정을 받은 지 얼마 지나지 않아 이번에는 명품 거래 플랫폼 발란도 가품 논란에 휩싸였다. 해당 게시글로 발란은 제품을 회수해 한국명품감정원을 통해 감정을 진행했고 가품 판정을 받았다. 기존 결제건을 취소하고 새상품을 준비하며 사건을 일단락되는 것 같아보이지만 업계에 대한 소바자 신뢰도에 큰 타격이 있을 것으로 예상된다. 이번 사태는 무신사에 이어 두 번째 가품 사태다. 무신사는 지난 1월 100% 정품 주장을 고수하며 법적 조치까지 언급했으나 피어오브갓 본사가 직접 가품 판정을 내리자 이를 인정하고 공식 사과했다.
