혼자 명절을 보내는 이들을 뜻하는 혼명족들을 겨냥한 제품들이 명절을 앞두고 속속 출시되고 있다. 편의점업계는 간편식을 선호하는 젊은 층과 1인 가구들을 공략해 명절 대표 음식들을 모은 도시락 제품을 선보이는 중이다.
1인 가구 밀집 지역 등에서 인기
GS25는 설날을 맞아 소불고기, 잡채, 모둠전 등 9개의 반찬으로 이뤄진 도시락을 선보였다. GS25는 작년에도 이같은 제품을 선보여 높은 판매량을 기록한 바 있다. 명절 기간 원룸촌, 오피스텔이 밀집한 지역에서 이러한 혼명족을 위한 도시락 매출이 높은 것으로 알려졌다. 특히 연휴에는 식당들이 휴업을 하는 경우가 많아 혼자 도시락으로 끼니를 떼우는 사람이 많다. 세븐일레븐 역시 명절을 공략한 신제품을 출시해 프로모션을 진행 중이다. 업계 관계자는 혼명족이 도시락만으로 명정 분위기를 느낄 수 있도록 제품을 선보이겠다고 밝혔다.
